PHR Gets Muddy in the Name of Charity

PHR Smashes Charity Target

12 September 2014
The PHR Muddy Runner team have successfully raised over £2,800 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice after completing The Obstacle at Jimmy’s Farm, smashing its initial target of £2,500.

Even four months of gruelling training could not prepare the team for the perils of The Obstacle, which included getting over seven foot walls, scaling treacherous monkey bars and scrabbling through constricted tunnels.

After finishing the gruelling 10-kilometre run ridden with its sixty obstacles, the PHR Muddy Runners received their well-deserved medals and much-needed energy bars!

More importantly, PHR as a whole have helped an amazing charity, which everyday supports families and cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. Please show your support for PHR and EACH by visiting the website and donating whatever you can.
